Self-shooting Producer / Director working on observational documentaries, interview led retrospective films, authored documentaries and current affairs investigative filmmaking. My recent feature documentary for Channel 5 was highly commended at the AIB awards for best investigative documentary and the True Crime Awards for best single documentary.
I'm a very experienced self-shooter, shooting on a wide range of projects and in different environments. I take all my directing projects through the edit, and I have series produced & directed a two-part series for BBC3.
I have my own FX9 and FX3 kit with lights and a full range of prime lenses, drone and gimble camera setup.
I'm excellent at building and maintaining relationships with contributors; particularly experienced with sensitive access, compliance issues and vulnerable contributors. I have a strong producers head - working on a range of tricky access programmes from high net worth individuals to more vulnerable contributors or sensitive access alongside casting and story finding.
